Strong skating muscles are are extremley important to a hockey player's performance on the ice. Here are some great exercises to build strong legs for hockey.

Exercise 1 - Dumbell Lunges

Dumbell Lunges are a great way to introduce explosive style movements into a strength training program. Doing this exercise will help enhance the skating stride of a player.
